Key Programme Breakthroughs & Limits
Optional Bank Loans: Taking out a bank loan is no longer compulsory for participation, decoupling loan obligations from grant approval.
Budget Cap: The maximum eligible budget per application is €25,000.
Digital & Bureaucracy-Free Process: Applications are processed exclusively online via a dedicated portal, where the electronic form functions as an official solemn declaration.
Energy Inspection Workflow
- Initial Energy Audit: An official Energy Inspector must conduct a first inspection and issue an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) to identify required upgrades.
- Targeted Upgrades: Building interventions are selected based on audit findings to maximize energy performance improvements.
- Final Verification: A second energy audit takes place after project completion to confirm that energy savings targets were met before final grant payout.
- 100% Inspector Cost Coverage: Energy Inspector fees are fully covered by the programme upon application approval.
